All data is encrypted in transit (TLS), and sensitive fields such as authentication secrets are encrypted at rest. HealthKin is designed around GDPR requirements, including consent tracking, data export, and the right to deletion. You decide who can see each profile and each record - and you can revoke access at any time.
Can I share specific health information with my doctor or caregiver?
Yes. You can share an entire family profile or a single record with a partner, caregiver, or doctor. Sharing is per-profile and per-record, and you can revoke access with a single click whenever you want.
What devices and platforms does HealthKin support?
HealthKin runs on iPhone and iPad - download it free on the App Store - and on the web at app.healthkin.io. The Android app is coming soon to Google Play. Everything stays in sync, so you can upload a record on your phone and review it later in your browser.
How many family members can I add?
You can add every member of your household - partners, children, and the elderly parents you care for. Each person gets their own secure profile with individual sharing settings.
How does AI-assisted document upload work?
Upload a PDF or snap a photo of a medical document. With your explicit consent, our AI extracts the key details (date, clinician, summary), and you review and confirm before the record is saved. Nothing is finalized without your approval, and each AI extraction is logged for transparency.
What kinds of records can I store in HealthKin?
Medical documents like lab results, immunization cards, visit summaries, discharge notes, prescriptions, and referrals - as PDFs or photos. HealthKin keeps them organized per family member and easy to find when you need them.
Who can see my family's data?
Only you and the people you explicitly invite. Family members see what you share with them based on role. External recipients such as doctors only see records you grant access to - nothing else - and access can be revoked at any time.
Can I export my data or delete my account?
Yes. You can request a full data export at any time in a machine-readable format. You can also request deletion of your account, and we permanently remove your data in accordance with GDPR. Your data belongs to you.

HealthKin (Bambly sp. z o.o.) is based in the European Union and is designed around GDPR from the ground up: explicit consent, data minimization, right to export, right to deletion, and a complete activity log for transparency.
